This week we celebrated Administrative Professionals Day, and it’s a day that’s deeply meaningful to me personally. In truth, every day should be a day we honor those who support our businesses behind the scenes.

In my opinion, the executive assistants, administrative assistants, and business partners are the most important people in any company.

Why?
Because they:
✅ Support operations behind the scenes
✅ Keep things running smoothly when no one’s watching
✅ Step in quietly to solve problems before they even reach you

And let’s be honest—without them, many of our businesses simply wouldn’t function.

I know this from two perspectives:

• I started my career as an administrative and executive assistant.
• Now, as a business owner, I rely on incredible team members who fill these vital roles.

You need both perspectives to truly understand how essential they are.

Appreciation Isn’t a Task—It’s a Leadership Mindset

Appreciation isn’t something to check off once a year.
It’s an ongoing, intentional practice.

When you take a moment to genuinely recognize and thank someone, it can:
